2025 Tournaments

Yolo will be travelling to Reno for the Baseball for All Nationals (July 21-25) and Phoenix for the Leighton Accardo Memorial Tournament (December 5-7).  In addition to those, the team is considering hosting a tournament in Richmond in late September.

Given the time and costs of each, along with the tremendous growth in player interest, we will be holding separate tryout processes for each tournament.

BFA Nationals

With games scheduled from July 21-25, travel is planned for July 20-26. In preparation, we will host pre-tournament practice sessions in the Vancouver area.

Yolo will be taking teams at 10U, 12U, and 18U to BFA Nationals. An announcement is pending on the summer program for 14U and 16U. (Note: US age cutoff is April 30; eg: a player who turns 13 in June 2025 can play 12U for any US tournaments in 2025 calendar year)

10U and 12U tryouts for the BFA teams are:

• March 8 - 4.30pm - 7.30pm - Latrace Field, Richmond - Register

• March 9 - 2.00pm - 4.00pm - The Yardhouse - Kelowna - Register

• March 15 - 9.00am - 12.00pm - Challenger Field, Vancouver - Register

• March 15 - 12.00pm - 2.00pm - Island Training Centre, Langford - Register

Fees & Travel

Due to the longer duration and 5-game minimum, our projected fee for BFA Nationals is $750 CAD per player.  This does not include player travel, hotel or food costs. All players must travel and stay with a parent/adult including transportation to/from games. Coaches will be responsible for the players at practices, games and team events but will not oversee the team at the hotel or in transit.

Returning players will be able to re-use their uniforms from 2024 and can purchase individual items that need replacement. Additional uniform elements may also be introduced. New players to Yolo will buy a uniform bundle that will be approximately $175. Our team store offers a variety of additional gear for purchase by players, families and fans.
